A revived Spring Art Market returns to Itasca March 9
The Spring Art Market at Church Street Brewing Company in Itasca is back on Saturday, March 9, and promises a more diverse array of local talents.
Hosted by the Streetz Artz Alliance, the day is set inside the taproom and is free to attend.
From noon to 5 p.m., attendees can immerse themselves in a treasure trove of artistic wonders at Church Street Brewing Company, 1480 Industrial Drive in Itasca. With ample parking available on site and free street parking nearby, accessibility is a breeze for all visitors.
The Spring Art Market boasts a meticulously curated selection of over thirty local artists, makers, and vintage vendors, ensuring a delightful blend of original art, handcrafted goods, and unique finds. Whether you’re seeking exquisite paintings, custom leather art, or vintage vinyl treasures, there’s something to captivate every taste and preference.
“We’re thrilled to welcome both new and returning artists to our revived Spring Art Market,” said John Streetz, curator of the event and head of the Streetz Artz Alliance. “Our aim is to provide a diverse and engaging experience for attendees, showcasing the incredible talent within our community.”
Among the highlights of this year’s event are the offerings from Ten Cups Tarot and Fine-Tooned Caricatures. Ten Cups Tarot presents paperback journals and self-love charms alongside personalized readings by Teagan Hofmann. Meanwhile, Fine-Tooned Caricatures delivers live, full-color caricatures (or pets) guaranteed to bring laughter and joy to guests.
In addition to the eclectic array of artists, attendees can indulge in the brewery’s delectable menu offerings, which include craft beers, mixed drinks, and non-alcoholic options. The brewery’s kitchen ensures that guests can refuel and relax while immersing themselves in the vibrant atmosphere.
The festivities continue into the evening, with live entertainment featuring Chuck Wilson serenading guests inside the taproom starting at 5pm. For those seeking a creative outlet, BarleyHaus by Church Street presents a Mandala Dot Painting class, offering participants the chance to craft their own unique Easter-themed creations.
As part of the event, Church Street Brewing Company introduces its latest innovation, Pigeon Row Hop Water, a THC-infused beverage available for pick-up. Crafted with care and packed with flavor, Pigeon Row promises a refreshing experience with each sip.
