Once authorities conducted a conjunct investigation, the suspect was taken into custody, and the case was referred to the office of Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul.

The attorney general’s office is now charging Green with two counts of class X felony gunrunning, two counts of class 1 felony gunrunning, one count of felony unlawful use of a weapon, and two counts of felony unlawful possession of a weapon. If convicted, each count of class X felony gunrunning is punishable by up to 40 years in prison.
