Naperville mayor named grand marshal for St. Patrick’s Day Parade March 9

Naperville Mayor Scott Wehrli will be the grand marshal for the West Suburban Irish St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday, March 9.

The 31st annual parade steps off at 10 a.m. from Naperville North High School, 899 N. Mill St. It will head south on Mill Street to Jefferson Avenue, then head east to Main Street, south on Main to Porter and Webster, before ending at Naperville Central High School, 440 Aurora Ave. The parade also will be shown on Naperville Community Television (NC17).

More than 90 units will be participating in the parade, including the Chicago Garda Pipes and Drums, McNulty Irish Dancers, Bentley Academy of Irish Dance, Weber School of Irish Dance, Firefighters Highland Guard of Naperville, Chorus of DuPage, Naperville Music, School of Rock and Procession Brass, as well as the popular DuPage Shrine Club Cruzin' Coolers and the Medinah Clown, Flying Carpet, Segway, and Mini Choppers units.
