Cheer for Sox, but not stadium aid

I wish the White Sox luck in future seasons, but not at Illinois taxpayers' expense. Given the tremendous new burden of migrants, the lingering “unhoused” needs and many other financial demands in Illinois, the last thing we need is to fund a billion-dollar investment in a new ballpark.

Go, Sox! But stay where you are.!
