Students, seniors with dementia spread kindness

Some Glen Ellyn seniors teamed up with local youth to thank first responders for their service. The residents of Churchill Place, an Anthem Memory Care community, joined students from Rawdah Homeschool Co-op to make snack bags and thank you cards for the fire fighters Station #62 in Glen Ellyn.

“Our residents were inspired by Random Acts of Kindness Week and wanted to thank the first responders in person,” said Ismael Lagunes, life engagement director for Grace Point Place. “Connecting with the students in such a meaningful way brought them joy, and purpose.”

Churchill Place is located at 190 Geneva Road in Glen Ellyn.
