Why are you running for this office? Is there a particular issue that motivates you? If so, what?

Kane County has never had a economy development plan. This is highly needed. To stop looking at raising taxes, we need to implement a economic plan. Also, look at where we are wasting funds.

What experiences and background would you bring to the office and how do these affect the way you would serve on the county board?

My main background is in Architecture and Engineering. Also worked a great deal in Management understanding the structure of government its pluses and minuses. Been active in the community, long before I started or even considered running for office.

I try constantly to look at different avenues and try to think “ outside the box,”

What do you consider the three most-serious issues facing the county and how would you address them?

Not raising taxes: economic development plan. Address how we are using our present funds.

Physical and mental health: looking how we can improve our hearth department and working with other organizations that Addresses the issue.

Good paying jobs: I Chair the Work Force Development Board, which is through the state. We constantly Address this issue.

How do you rate the health of the county's financial system? Do you support any changes in the county's fiscal policies?

Out of 10 it’s a 7. We have funds! It’s how we describe what they are on how they are to be used.

We need a financial plan.

Why are you the best person to serve in this role?

I’m a very humble person. But I have worked hard at diversing my knowledge and resources. I work well with others. I try to approach everything with an open mind. I don’t care what side you are on, if you have a good idea that will help the people of Kane, I’m listening.

With all that and my experience as a business owner, he hard to find someone with my resume.

I love making a difference.
