Endorsement: Hendricks for McHenry County Board Dist. 3

Robert Nowak, candidate for McHenry County Board District 3

Republicans Eric Hendricks and Robert Nowak are running to represent District 3 on the McHenry County Board.

Hendricks, of Lake in the Hills, is an incumbent and was elected to the board in 2022. His professional experience as an attorney and accountant with a background in finance are valuable in this role. As he did two years ago, he’s running on the promise to fight and vote against tax hikes. He understands the business of the county and how to ensure that responsible budgeting and fiscal responsibilities are maintained.

Nowak, of Algonquin, also brings experience to the race, both as a previous member of the McHenry County Board in District 1 and with 23 years overall service in municipal government. He also served as director of building, planning and zoning for Cary. Nowak also wants to fight for no increase to the property tax levy.

Either candidate would serve this role well, but Hendricks’ experience on the board the past two years puts him in an ideal position to continue. He has proved himself to be a valuable member of the board who cares about his constituents and will fight to ensure that McHenry County residents are well represented. Hendricks is endorsed.
