Grove Express Foundation unveils new scholarship program for District 99 graduating seniors
The Grove Express Foundation, a committed advocate for educational advancement and youth programming in Downers Grove, recently announced the launch of a new scholarship program.
Designed to support the aspirations of graduating seniors from District 99 High Schools (Downers Grove South and Downers Grove North), this initiative aims to recognize students passionate about community service who intend to pursue higher education.
The Grove Express Foundation plans to grant up to 10 scholarships, each worth $5,000. These scholarships aim to recognize students for their commitment to community service and potential impact, focusing on their drive rather than financial requirements.
To be eligible for the Grove Express Scholarship Award, candidates must be graduating seniors attending District 99 High School (either Downers Grove South or Downers Grove North; and intend to pursue a post-secondary education.
Applicants must complete the scholarship application in full by the deadline of March 18. They also must consent to allow Grove Express Foundation to use their name and likeness in social media, press materials, and/or the website.
The Grove Express Foundation seeks graduating seniors who have made a significant impact through community service and plan to extend their efforts into college and beyond.
Scholarship recipients will become part of the Grove Express Scholars group, gaining networking opportunities with past winners and the chance to learn and develop together.
