Windy City Bulls get big night from Jackson in win
The Windy City Bulls, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, beat the Indiana Mad Ants 106-97 Saturday night in front of 5,137 fans at NOW Arena. Windy City was led by guard Quenton Jackson with 25 points, 7 assists and 5 rebounds.
Chicago Bulls Two-way forward Adama Sanogo finished with 19 points and 7 rebounds. Chicago Bulls Two-way forward Henri Drell chipped in 14 points and grabbed 6 rebounds.
Both teams shot 40 percent from the field to start the game, with Indiana taking a 26-22 lead at the end of the first quarter. Guard Keifer Sykes scored 10 points off the bench for the Bulls in the second quarter, however, the Mad Ants led 54-43 at halftime.
Windy City outscored Indiana 34-23 in the third quarter to tie the game heading into the final 12 minutes. Jackson scored 10 of the Bull’s final 29 points to help secure the 9-point win.
Indiana was led by Indiana Pacers Two-way guard Isaiah Wong with 20 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists. Indiana Pacers Two-way forward Oscar Tshiebwe finished with 18 points and 16 rebounds.
With the win, Windy City improved to 8-12 in the regular season, while Indiana fell to 13-9.
