Rare insight on Gaza
A few weeks ago, Keith Raffel wrote an enlightening piece on the Daily Herald’s Opinion page. It was titled“A three-state, not two-state solution.”
He explained how doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result has only led us to failure. He went on to compare a new West Bank State to flourishing Jamaica in the Caribbean and a new Gaza state to the successful city states of Singapore, Dubai and Hongkong.
I have never heard of this idea. Have I been sleeping in class? It seems to me to be a brilliant idea.
Is this such heresy that nobody dares to write and talk about it?
Thank you, Keith Raffel, for writing this piece, whether it was your idea or not.
