Wheeling Township seeking food pantry donations

The Wheeling Township Food Pantry is seeking donations of nonperishable food and personal hygiene products.

Canned goods, cereal and juice are among the desired food items. They’ll go to local residents in need.

Checks should be made payable to “Wheeling Township Emergency Fund, Inc.” Gift cards to Jewel or Aldi of up to $25 also are welcome.

Donations are accepted weekdays between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. in the township supervisor’s office, 1616 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights.
