We need better understanding of European news
The day of love is behind us. The best of Late Night in The New York Times was delightful.
But none of our media truly point out the danger in our life that we are facing, not only from careless treatment of the environment. Maybe the media should read more facts from the European News and present it in very simple words to us, so that some uninformed or thoughtless people understand the threats we are facing.
Our most urgent duty to protect the U.S. is to help the Ukraine and, in fact, Europe. This is not a fairy tale and the problems with our border and refugees are of minor importance.
The North Atlantic Treaty Organization consists of 31 member countries including the United States established in after 1949 to defend each other against attacks by third parties, namely the Soviet Union. That alliance is of utmost importance for the U.S. Leave the little, unimportant squabbles and innocent opinions behind and think of a much larger threat.
The European countries are all afraid that Putin’s Russia will take over Europe once it takes over Ukraine, and if that happens and we and you are not supporting the present administration, then Russia will attack the U.S., because there is no longer a protective barrier left of NATO member countries.
We can’t do it alone. Meanwhile Russia has developed mighty nuclear weapons. Many of you do not (want to) understand, the present administration is doing all it can to do the right thing to keep U.S. safe and make our life livable again, but it needs our support. We must concentrate on our safety.
Just think about it and try to read the European news online. They reflect more what is really happening in this world. Our news media is not. Start thinking in reasonable terms.
