Senators know better

The senior senator from Illinois, Dick Durbin, says he would like to see a cease-fire in Gaza. He says he wants to protect innocent civilians. To date, approximately 75% of the casualties (about 21,000 people) of the Israeli bombardment have been women and children.

Dick Durbin knows this. Dick Durbin doesn’t care. Dick Durbin is the definition of hypocrisy. We knew Tammy Duckworth didn’t care about civilians. But we took Durbin at his word when he said he cared about civilians. He lied. Both Durbin and Duckworth are a disgrace to the Land of Lincoln. The People of Illinois deserve better from their public servants.
