General Federation of Women’s Clubs-Illinois offering scholarships

Scholarships are being offered to students pursuing arts, drama, education, music, and vocational studies.

Applicants must be a graduating high school senior, current college/university/vocational student, and/or an adult returning to school who will be attending a school in Illinois.

The scholarship offerings are:

• Lorado Taft Scholarship for Art Students

• Arthur Grant Smith Scholarship for Drama Students

• Vina A. Miller Scholarship for Education Students

• Hamilton Ridge Scholarship for Music Students

• Cottage Park (Women) & Lincoln Lodge (Men) Vocational Scholarships

Applications must be received by Monday, April 1, 2024.

Applications will be reviewed by a scholarship committee. The minimum award is $1,500. Scholarship winners will be notified by June 15 via email and postal mail. Winners will be posted on the GFWC Illinois website.

The General Federation of Women’s Clubs-Illinois (gfwcillinois.org) is a philanthropic organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service.
