Downers Grove Rotarians accepting service scholarship applications

Applications for the Rotary Club of Downers Grove Service Scholarship for 2024 are now available. The scholarships will be awarded ranging from $2,000 to $5,000. Deadline for all applications is Friday, March 22.

Applicants must be a resident of Downers Grove, enrolled in a public or private high school; must be a graduating senior pursuing a postsecondary program; participant in service activities in school or the community; demonstrated leadership qualities within the service activities; and financial need is not a criteria for selection.

Applications will be reviewed by the Rotary scholarship committee.

If the applicant is selected for an interview, notification of the time of the interview will be sent to the applicant via email.

Ten-minute interviews for the finalists will be held between 6 to 9 p.m. on the following dates: 60516 High School Area on Monday, April 8; and 60515 High School Area on Tuesday, April 9.
