Celebrate for a great cause at St. Patrick’s Day Dinner
Start your St. Patrick’s Day festivities early and help support the Special Leisure Services Foundation (SLSF) and the Rolling Meadows Park District Foundation.
Set for 5:30-10 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, the 20th annual St. Patrick’s Day Dinner fundraiser will take place at the Rolling Meadows Park District Community Center, 3705 Pheasant Drive.
Open to ages 21 and older, the evening features Irish dancers from Hogan Irish Dance Academy, an open bar with beer and seltzer, free wine tasting from d’Vine Wine and Gifts and a delicious meal of corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, chicken, Irish soda bread and dessert. The event also includes a DJ and dancing.
Attendees will have a chance to test their luck in a variety of raffles and games, including a Reverse Raffle, Treasure Chest Raffle, Gift Card Raffle, Wheel Barrel of Booze and a fun game of Heads and Tails.
SLSF is the fundraising arm of Northwest Special Recreation Association (NWSRA). NWSRA is an extension of 17 park districts in the Northwest suburbs established in 1973, providing outstanding recreational opportunities to children and adults with disabilities. NWSRA provides special events, trips, leisure education, inclusion services, athletics programs, weekly programs and much more to its residents.
