Police: Naperville man charged in connection with meth sale investigation

A Naperville man is facing charges in connection with a four-month investigation into methamphetamine sales in the city, police said Thursday.

Andre Wilborn Jr., 32, was taken into custody around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in a parking lot on the 1600 block of Country Lakes Drive, Naperville, according to a news release from the Naperville Police Department. Officers then searched his home, which he shares with his child, and found drugs, cash, a gun, and ammunition, police said.

Wilborn is charged with four counts of manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, all felonies; and three misdemeanors: unlawful possession of a firearm without a FOID, illegal possession of ammunition without a FOID, and endangering the health/life of a child, the release stated.
