St. James students performing ‘The Wizard of Oz’ this weekend

Middle school students from St. James School in Arlington Heights will perform “The Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition” this weekend.

Performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, and Saturday, Feb. 17, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18, at the school, 820 N. Arlington Heights Road. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance at www.stjamestheatre.org.

The show is described as a 60-minute version of the classic L. Frank Baum tale, tailored for young performers.
