The courts and the privileges of wealth

That Donald Trump remains a free man in light of all his lifelong disregard of law is more than an indication that our legal system is saleable. From the Supreme Court to the local lawyers, it is obvious, money speaks louder than truth, or justice. Unfortunately, these failures are tolerated even when exposed. Credit the hubris of wealth and power.

I am often disgusted and surprised by the ability of "defense attorneys" to plead client innocence in light of obvious guilt, not mitigating circumstance, but innocence: in Trump's case, nationally televised commission of those crimes. Were Trump poor or a minority, he would already have a lengthy criminal record and have been thereby precluded from seeking office, but alas WHIP. (Wealth Has It's Privileges)

God help the United States of America.
