Article hurt by political statement

Re: What happens when nobody believes anything anymore by David Klepper.

What a very interesting article. The points that Klepper made certainly had me thinking about the future and how exactly will we be able to determine what’s truth and what’s fiction. However, the article totally lost me when its prime examples were focused on Donald Trump.

If Klepper wanted to truly make his point, then I don’t understand why he left out the Russian collusion incident that Hillary Clinton, James Comey and others purported to have taken place. The collusion story was everywhere during the election. Social media had a field day, as did the government ‘s investigation into what we later learned was merely a fabrication. No mention of it anymore.

The article caught my attention until it made a political statement. I applauded Mr. Baumann when he announced the Daily Herald would stick to the facts and remain unbiased. Now let’s truly see if that can be done.
