Children invited to pick their playground at Community Input meeting
Rolling Meadows Park District is calling on children in the community to give their input on playground renovations at Countryside Park.
Families are invited to attend a Community Input meeting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 13, at the Community Center, 3705 Pheasant Drive. Plans include replacing the more than 20-year-old equipment in the park, located at 4360 Euclid Ave. Attendees can view proposals and learn more about the project.
We’re hoping to get an excellent turnout of our youngest residents to let us know what they would like to see at Countryside Park,” said Executive Director Kevin Romejko. “The playground at Countryside Park is due for a renovation and we would love to have children participate in this phase of the process as we update one of our most popular parks.”
Three playground vendors will be on-site during the meeting showcasing different proposals and ideas for the playground. Snacks will be provided.
