Music at Bethel welcomes Edgewater Ensemble Wind Quintet March 2

The Music at Bethel series presents the Edgewater Ensemble Woodwind Quintet, a Chicago-based wind quintet comprised of flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and French horn, in concert on Saturday, March 2.

The concert program will include compositions by Gary Powell Nash, Mélanie Bonis, Valerie Coleman and Florence F. Price.

Artists include Steve Yepez, flute; Jenny Mallette, oboe; Adrian Munive, clarinet; Lamar Curtis, bassoon; and Erika Hollenback, French horn.

World-class, award-winning pianist and artistic director Jeffrey Panko will join the ensemble for a performance of Frances Poulenc’s Sextet for Piano and Winds.

The concert will begin at 7 p.m. at Bethel United Church of Christ, 315 E. St. Charles Road in Elmhurst.

Music at Bethel is celebrating its 25th season of performances. On April 21, the season will wrap up with renowned flutist Mary Stolper, accompanied by Jeffrey Panko.
