Deadline extended for entries in St. Charles St. Patrick’s Parade
The St. Charles St. Patrick’s Parade, presented by St. Charles Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, will be taking place on Saturday, March 9.
The deadline to submit an application to be part of the parade has been extended to Monday, Feb. 19.
Local businesses, community groups and nonprofits are encouraged to participate in this year’s parade. All entries must include each of the following documents:
• A completed entry application.
• A certificate of insurance naming the St. Charles Business Alliance and the city of St. Charles as additional insureds.
• A signed copy of the St. Patrick’s Parade rules and safety guidelines.
• An entry fee of $275 for business/political entries or $25 for nonprofit entries. Make all checks payable to: St. Charles Business Alliance on or before Feb. 19, 2024.
If interested in participating, complete the form located at www.stcstpatricksparade.com. Entries that are planning on having more than 20 walkers will need to contact the St. Charles Business Alliance at (630) 443-3967 or info@stcalliance.org for special permission and guidelines.
The parade will step off at 2 p.m. on Main Street and Sixth Street, heading east on Main to Fourth Avenue.
The St. Charles Business Alliance is also in need of community volunteers for the event and is accepting volunteer applications up to the date of the parade. Parade pacers, marshals and banner carriers are needed. The application for volunteering can be found at www.stcstpatricksparade.com/volunteer.
