Tickets on sale for ‘Celebration of Tables’ benefit for Glen House Food Pantry

Tickets are now available for “Celebration of Tables,” the Glen Ellyn Newcomers & Neighbors Club’s annual fundraiser benefiting the Glen House Food Pantry.

This year’s event will take place on Sunday, March 3, at Arrowhead Golf Club, 26W151 Butterfield Road in Wheaton. Guests can choose from two different sessions: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 2 to 4 p.m.

Similar to a housewalk but with tables, the event will feature 20 tablescapes designed by local individuals and businesses that will inspire hundreds of attendees as they stroll around looking for creative ways to entertain.

“Celebration of Tables is an inspiring and creative way to come together as a community,” said Jessica Gianos, a 2023 stylist and club board member.

Guests also will enjoy light bites, wine, and bubbly, along with music and raffles. Live demonstrations will be provided by professional florists to show to attendees the art and science behind floral arrangement.

This year’s event offers a new raffle feature, the Tablescape Raffle. The “Celebration of Tables” planning committee curated a six-place setting tablescape to be raffled off to a lucky guest at each session.

Tickets for the Tablescape Raffle will be available for purchase in advance and at the event. The winner need not be present to win.

Early bird ticket pricing is available for $60 through Thursday, Feb. 15.

Tickets for $70 will be available from Feb. 16 to March 2, with the cost increasing to $80 on the day of the event. All proceeds benefit the Glen House Food Pantry and its efforts to “Make Hunger History” in DuPage County.
