Illinois State Police search Buffalo Grove home

Illinois State Police said its violent crimes unit, with the assistance of its SWAT team, executed a search warrant early Monday morning at a residence in the 600 block of Maple Avenue in Buffalo Grove .

State police said the search is part of an ongoing criminal investigation. More information will be made public at the conclusion of the investigation, authorities said.
