Resident suffers minor injuries in Antioch house fire
One resident suffered minor injuries in an early morning house fire in Antioch.
Firefighters were called to the split-level, single-family home on the 25000 block of West Woodlawn Avenue just before 4 a.m., officials said.
Firefighters encountered heavy smoke showing from the roof and one resident was treated at the scene for injuries and released. No other injuries were reported.
It took nearly two hours to extinguish the blaze and conduct salvage and overhaul operations.
The house was deemed uninhabitable. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
