Swivel those hips as the annual Windy City Elvis Tribute Artist Competition takes over the Des Plaines Theatre this weekend. The party kicks off Saturday with Joe Tirrito’s Elvis Show at 7 p.m., followed by karaoke at 8 in the theater’s Speakeasy Lounge. Sunday, the competition starts at 1 p.m. on the main stage as artists croon and strut their stuff for the crowd and a panel of judges.

AWR Music Productions and game developer Square Enix present “NieR:Orchestra Concert 12024 [the end of data],” a symphonic orchestral and choral production featuring music and a multimedia spectacle from the globally popular video game series. The concert also includes a recorded reading of a new storyline written by director Yoko Taro, voiced by characters 2B (Kira Buckland) and 9S (Kyle McCarley).
