It’s the appointment, not the test

I am 91 years old and do not have a problem taking a driving test. If I do not pass, I should not be driving. Having to make an appointment is what irritates me. I tried several times to make an appointment at a nearby facility and was not successful. I ended up having to drive 23 miles to Evanston to take the test, which I passed with no difficulty. I don't know why Illinois chooses to penalize senior drivers by insisting they make an appointment. I thought Giannoulias might be an improvement, but please, bring back Jesse White.
