Immanuel Palatine to host Family Literacy Night Jan. 25

Immanuel Lutheran School in Palatine will host a Family Literacy Night and Open House event from 6-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 25. Guests are invited to tour the campus and meet the teachers and staff while participating in literacy-themed activities for all ages.

Teachers and staff will read stories in the library throughout the night and will present displays and student projects in their classrooms. Additionally, the Scholastic Book Fair will be open for families to shop for books and a variety of items. There will be a balloon artist and children can win a prize for stopping at different stations throughout the campus.

This event is free and open to the community, and no preregistration is required.

Immanuel is in downtown Palatine at 200 N. Plum Grove Road and has been making disciples in the community for over 150 years through the Lutheran Church and School for Early Childhood through grade eight.
