Resource fair for Kane County veterans set for Feb. 2 in Batavia

The Kane County Veterans Assistance Commission is hosting a Veterans Resource Fair and Town Hall on Friday, Feb. 2, at Batavia Overseas VFW & Auxiliary 1197, 645 S. River St.

The Resource Fair will feature more than 40 resources and a Veterans Business Showcase with 18 veteran-owned businesses from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Town Hall gathering will follow from 4:30 to 6 p.m. with special guests, including Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs Director Terry Prince and Hines VA Hospital Chief of Staff Dr. Michael Richardson.

A free lunch also will be provided to those who register via veterans-assistance-commission-of-kane-county.ticketleap.com.
