A duty of the coherent
It seems these days there is another attempt to rewrite long ago history and a more recent attempt to rewrite current events – such as, in the Civil War it wasn’t the South that fired the first shot and it wasn’t about slavery, in spite of actual evidence; and it wasn’t Hamas that fired the first shot in the current conflict between them and the Israelis, but yet the Israeli’s are getting all the blame for protecting themselves. And, of course, there are those who refuse to accept choosing instead to blindly follow. It is, as usual, up to the coherent to point out the lying in order to keep our democracy safe, for if we choose to remain silent, then when our democracy falls, whose fault will it be?
