50 moms to win surprise grocery deliveries valued at over $500 each with ‘MOMents At Jewel-Osco’ contest

ITASCA, IL - Being a mom is hard work. The majority of moms report having less than one hour to themselves each day, according to a 2023 Motherly survey, and change between 2,500 to 3,000 diapers in their baby’s first year.

Inspired by the efforts of moms throughout Illinois, Indiana, and Iowa, Jewel-Osco, in partnership with Huggies, is launching “MOMents at Jewel-Osco.”

Dedicated to recognizing deserving moms and nourishing families, the new campaign offers a contest to win surprise grocery deliveries valued at over $500 each, and a chance to win access to an indulgent, MOMentous Celebration in May.

“We know being a mom is one of the toughest jobs in the world, and families are at the heart of our efforts to nourish communities,” said Mike Withers, president of Jewel-Osco. “This campaign not only gives us an opportunity to demonstrate our ongoing commitment to growing families throughout Illinois, Indiana and Iowa, but also reminds us that being a mom is a role to celebrate.”

The “MOMents at Jewel” in partnership with Huggies contest invites nominations and entries to recognize moms in Illinois, Indiana and Iowa.

Supported by presenting sponsors Kimberly-Clark and Kraft, entrants could win surprise grocery deliveries between February and April 2024 valued at over $500 each, filled with food, beverage and essential products for families found at Jewel-Osco. Applauding moms who go above and beyond for their families, contest nominees will also be eligible to win one of 50 tickets to the Jewel-Osco MOMentous Celebration at the Four Seasons Chicago on May 9, 2024, where moms and a guest will be honored during a special night of entertainment and rejuvenation.

To further illustrate their commitment to supporting area families, Jewel-Osco donated $20,000 to the Junior League of Chicago for the nonprofit’s ongoing diaper drive.

Babies require an estimated 6,000 to 8,000 diapers before they are potty trained and the Junior League of Chicago established the Bundles for Babies committee to ensure moms in need have a ready supply of these essentials.

“This incredible Jewel-Osco donation provides critical funds to support our Bundles for Babies program, as well as collaborative programs with our partners that address food insecurity and family health and wellness initiatives,” said Kristin Bernhard, president, Junior League of Chicago, a nonprofit organization that promotes voluntarism, develops leaders, and inspires members to positively impact the community. “We look forward to supporting incredible moms across our region with the delivery of MOMentous prizes throughout the campaign.”

Online contest entries are accepted now through Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at momentsatjewelosco.com.
