Lovell Federal Health Care Center to hold Facebook Live Patient Town Hall Jan. 16

The Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center’s next virtual Patient Town Hall will be at noon, Jan. 16 via Facebook Live.

Lovell FHCC leadership will answer questions from veterans, service members and other Department of Defense beneficiaries during the town hall. Patients are encouraged to submit their questions ahead of time to FHCC.Feedback@va.gov or enter them in the comments during the event. Town hall participants are asked to refrain from sharing any personal health information on Facebook.

The town hall is an opportunity to learn about Lovell FHCC’s launch of the new Federal Electronic Health Record in March, and to participate in an interactive question and answer session led by Lovell FHCC Director Dr. Robert Buckley and Deputy Director Capt. Chad McKenzie, who also is the commanding officer of Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Great Lakes, located at Lovell FHCC.

Email questions prior to the town hall to fhcc.feedback@va.gov. At the time of the town hall, visit the Lovell FHCC Facebook page, facebook.com/lovellfhcc, or the Facebook event, fb.me/e/3oBjDaAye.

Lovell FHCC is the nation’s only fully integrated Department of Defense and Department of Veterans Affairs medical facility. It serves veterans, active duty military members and their families at its main hospital in North Chicago. Lovell FHCC also operates four Naval Station Great Lakes clinics and veteran outpatient clinics in McHenry and Evanston, and Kenosha, Wis.
