Prostitution charged at Geneva business

Two women are facing criminal charges after an investigation alleging prostitution took place at a massage business in Geneva.

Xunyi Fu, 45, and Zhixiang Zeng, 35, were arrested Tuesday at Hy Massage, 410 E. State St., according to a news release from the city of Geneva.

Fu, who owns the business, is charged with misdemeanor prostitution and misdemeanor operating as a massage therapist without a license. She lives in the 200 block of West 23rd Street, Chicago.

Zeng was charged with operating as a massage therapist without a license. She lives in the 200 block of West 26th Street, Chicago.

According to the release, community members told authorities illicit activity was happening at the business.

The women are due to appear in court Feb. 20.
