Fundraiser launched after fire at Mundelein farm
An online fundraiser has been launched to help a Mundelein family whose farm was damaged by a fire last week.
No one was hurt in the Jan. 3 blaze at Beelow Farms, on Route 60 northwest of Route 83. No animals were hurt, either.
The farm’s shop was destroyed and a storage shed was damaged, the Beelows reported on the business’ Facebook page. Equipment was damaged, too, according to the friend who launched the GoFundMe page.
As of Tuesday afternoon, nearly $11,000 had been raised toward a $15,000 goal.
