Time to decide what kind of country we live in

Last Friday marked just three years removed from the day a sitting (defeated) President of the United States attempted the overthrow of our government. There is no other way to describe it. It sounds like a B-grade Hollywood movie, but it wasn’t.

I understand that you want to forget and move on, but you can’t. Unless all normal people stand up and do everything they can it will come back and worse than ever before.

Last week, a new poll was released showing 83% of all Republicans believe Jan. 6, 2021, wasn’t a violent event and that it was made up by the media. The current speaker of the house released tapes of that day, but blurred out the faces of what he called patriots because he doesn’t want them to be charged with a crime.

And, 84% of all Republicans believe Trump was not at fault for anything and should be given presidential Immunity for any and all crimes.

Is this the country you want to live in? Is this law and order? This coming November you will be asked to decide what type of country you want to live in. If you think it can’t happen, just ask those people who thought nothing would ever change with Roe v. Wade.
