Wild Ones meet Tuesday in Mundelein

Learn to identify plants in winter and secrets of seed dormancy and germination during a meeting of the Lake to Prairie Chapter of Wild Ones on Tuesday.

Ecologist Jeff Weiss, a Buffalo Grove resident who teaches native plant propagation and ecology classes at The Morton Arboretum and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, is the speaker.

The meeting is from 7 to 8 p.m. at Fremont Public Library, 1170 N. Midlothian Road, Mundelein. The presentation also will be available via Zoom. Registration is required. Visit fremontlibrary.org/events.
