Recycle Christmas lights in Maine Township

Maine Township officials will accept unwanted Christmas lights for recycling later this week.
Lights can be dropped off at the township center, 1700 Ballard Road in Park Ridge, on Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. or Saturday between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
People also can drop off unwanted extension cords.
Lights and light strands must be taken off garland, wreaths and trees to be recycled.
