Windy City Bulls fall to Stockton Kings at home

The Windy City Bulls, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, lost to the Stockton Kings 114-104 Friday night at NOW Arena. Windy City was led by Chicago Bulls two-way forward Adama Sanogo with 23 points and 12 rebounds.

Chicago Bulls two-way forward Onuralp Bitim chipped in 19 points and 4 rebounds. Guard Quenton Jackson and guard Chris Clemons finished with 15 points each.‌

The Kings got off to a hot start, shooting 7-for-11 from 3-point range. Clemons hit a buzzer-beater at the end of the first quarter to bring the Bulls within 5 points. Sanogo scored 13 points in the first half, however, Windy City trailed 68-60 going into the second half.

Stockton outscored Windy City by 8 in the third quarter to take a 97-81 lead heading into the final 12 minutes. The Bulls scored 23 points in the fourth quarter, but it wasn’t enough in the 10-point loss.

Stockton was led by Sacramento Kings Two-way guard Jordan Ford with 27 points on 9 -for-15 shooting from the field. Guard Mason Jones finished with 16 points and 5 assists.

With the loss Windy City fell to 0-4 in the regular season, while Stockton improved to 3-0.

Next up, Windy City will face the Stockton Kings again Saturday at NOW Arena. The game is slated to tip-off at 7 p.m. and will be broadcast live on NBC Sports Chicago.
