Thanks for weather job well done

Congratulations to Tom Skilling on a long and successful career as a meteorologist at WGN.

He retires effective Feb. 28, but I understand he’ll favor us with occasional special weather reports.

What a Chicagoland institution he is. I would submit that many listeners tune in to his reports not just for the weather forecasts but for his positive uplifting attitude.

That kind of passion for a service profession is truly rare.
