Kids’ cards on display at Des Plaines library

Winter-themed cards designed by local kids are on display through Monday at the Des Plaines Public Library, 1501 Ellinwood St.

The cards are available for anyone to see in the hallway outside the library’s main meeting room. A jolly-looking snowman and a pair of cardinals are among the featured subjects.

Admission is free. The exhibition is viewable during regular library hours.
