Santa, Mrs. Claus spread season's cheer at Aurora church

An appearance by Santa and Mrs. Claus Wednesday, Dec. 20, highlighted Wesley United Methodist Church's Wednesday Night Gathering event in Aurora.

The biweekly event featured a free ham dinner, Santa reading "Santa's Favorite Story" and cookie and ornament decorating.

Pastor Tammy Scott provided Santa's book, one of her childhood favorites, for Santa to read.

He posed for photos and answered children's questions during and after his reading.

Wesley holds Wednesday Night Gathering events on the first and third Wednesdays. Included are a free dinner and family activity. The public is invited. Admission and parking are free.

Wesley holds Sunday worship servicesĀ at 10:30 a.m. in person or online at 9:30 a.m. at wesleyumcaurora.online.church.
