The best choice we have
Almost every day some newsman writes an article criticizing the people in this country who have indicated they plan on voting for Donald Trump. They have been called dumb, blind, stupid, ignorant, fanatic and extremist plus at least 20 more adjectives to criticize them for their choice.
Yesterday for the first time I read the word fundamentalists being used. As much as I am one of those people that will most likely vote for Mr. Trump I found this description to be the least insulting of the comments thrown at me and the millions of other Trump supporters.
However, let me make something clear at least for me. I am voting for Trump because I feel he is the best choice available to me today. If a Dwight D. Eisenhower, Ulysses S. Grant, Franklin D. Roosevelt or yes, even a Harry Truman suddenly appeared from the mist, I would immediately switch my vote.
These men always put all of America first and always did what was best for all the American people. They also, especially in the case of Eisenhower, had the respect of both our allies and our enemies.
As for Biden he scares me perhaps mostly because of his growing signs of age and who replaces him if he dies in office. As for Trump, of course ,he is no spring chicken, but I believe the risks are less and no matter what the media and the liberal press have to say, he loves this country.
On a final not, there is always the question of what about Trump’s legal problems, including being called for leading an insurrection. While personally I do not believe Trump won the election, after living in the Chicago area for 77 years and seen how Democratic politics work, I do not believe he was a traitor for believing he did win. Keep in mind I am a Vietnam War Veteran and I saw what insurrection and hate for this country was. I have said this more than once this country is more divided today than during the Civil War.
