Young partygoers get early start on 2024

For some little ones out there, bedtime arrived long before the ball dropped to usher in 2024.

With that in mind, the Salt Creek Rural Park District in Palatine hosted a Noon Year’s Eve Party for kids who expected to be in bed when the clock struck midnight.

Held at the park district’s Sports Center, the party featured bounce house, dancing, photo ops, crafts, games and more. The highlight was a countdown to noon and balloon drop.
