Pedestrian fatally struck by vehicle in Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police are investigating the death of a Palatine woman who was struck by a vehicle along a busy road early Sunday morning.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office reported Laura Farinosi, 42, died at 1:18 a.m. Sunday of blunt force injuries after being struck by a motor vehicle.
Arlington Heights police said the vehicle was traveling northwest on Rand Road at North Chestnut Avenue when the crash occurred.
