Get tips for indoor houseplants Jan. 4

Plant evangelist Clark Hudmon, co-owner and general manager of The Barn Owl Garden Center, will host “Sure Cure for the Winter Blues: Houseplants” Thursday, Jan. 4.

The in-person program will be 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Carol Stream Public Library, 616 Hiawatha Drive.

The heart of winter is a perfect time to bring a little life and beauty into your home.

The discussion will focus on picking the right plants for your indoor space and ensuring the health and beauty of your houseplants.

This interactive session will be for all levels, from beginners to those with a green thumb. This event is held in partnership with the DuPage Organic Gardening Club.
