Streamwood man dies after being struck by vehicle in Bartlett

A 41-year-old Streamwood man was killed Christmas Eve when he was struck by a vehicle while walking on Lake Street in Bartlett.

Police responded to the intersection of Lake Street and Club Tree Drive just before 6 p.m. for a report of a pedestrian-involved crash.

Enrique Mendez was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation. No citations have been issued.
