Man sought following Buffalo Grove bank robbery

Authorities are seeking a man suspected of the armed robbery of a Buffalo Grove bank Thursday afternoon.

Buffalo Grove police said they responded at about 3:23 p.m. to the BMO Bank at 500 W. Half Day for a reported robbery. The suspect fled before their arrival.

The FBI, which is leading the investigation, said the man, seen in photos released by the agency, displayed a note demanding money, while implying he had a handgun.

No injuries were reported, the FBI said.
