Jogging carolers
I'm hoping to find out what group I witnessed singing and running along the Fox River about two weeks ago. I walk there almost every day in Geneva just north of Fabian Parkway on the west side of the river.
In the distance I heard young men's voices singing the Christmas song “Last Christmas.” They sounded fabulous. No accompaniment and they were right on pitch and they knew all the words. They then approached where I was walking. There were about 20 of them. They were all young men all dressed in shorts and t-shirts and singing The Christmas song “Last Christmas.” When they ended that song, they started up another Christmas song. And they continued as they ran. They ran off into the distance, and I was so sad but they turn around later and came back still singing. I'm wondering who they were and why they were running along the Fox River not dressed for the cold weather and singing Christmas songs in unison.
Any ideas?
