Meet the new superintendent of Glen Ellyn District 41
Glen Ellyn Elementary District 41 school board members will introduce new Superintendent Jeff McHugh with a welcome reception at Hadley Junior High School.
During the board’s committee of the whole meeting at the Glen Ellyn school on Jan. 8, McHugh and current district Superintendent Melissa Kaczkowski also will give a joint presentation on the plan for leadership transition.
Kaczkowski is retiring at the end of the school year and McHugh will take the helm July 1. School board members earlier this month unanimously approved a three-year contract with McHugh, who now is a deputy superintendent for Lake Forest School Districts 67 and 115.
The District 41 board meeting begins 6:30 p.m. at Hadley, 240 Hawthorne Blvd.
